As an early holiday present, I give you one wacky trailer for “Knight and Day”, next summer’s extravaganza starring Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz.  (Yes I know all of you have been counting down the days since “Vanilla Sky” just waiting for this reunion.  Ok, maybe not).  But perhaps you should have been waiting as this looks like one seriously entertaining flick.  And this trailer does perfectly what any trailer should do.  It gets you excited about the movie, yet doesnt give you a clue what its really about or give away huge plot points (at least as far as this seasoned movie goer can tell).  All i can gather is that we are back to supercool Tom Cruise mode and there isnt a mention of Scientology to be found.  Anyway, the trailer just left me smiling, so I’d say it works.  Did I mention the trailer has Portugese subtitles?  Apparently, thats just a little bonus.  Enjoy and feel free to share your thoughts with me on Twitter @smarthollywood or email me at smarthollywood@gmail.com.  Is this film on your 2010 must see list?
